A Few Minor Changes….

Well since our last blog a couple of things have changed around here…..

We have moved and now live in Geraldine, Andrew has changed jobs and the boys now attend the local primary and pre-school here in Geraldine!!

We moved South from Darfield mid Jan, managing to buy and sell houses within a couple of days of each other, which somehow all worked like clockwork much to our surprise. We now have a new wilderness backyard here in South Canterbury to explore which is pretty exciting as we are now very close to the likes of Peel Forest, Orari Gorge, Rangitata River, Mackenzie Country and Timaru is just down the road. Albeit that Timaru is not a wilderness destination, it is handy to live close to a reasonable sized city for some conveniences.

In among the unpacking and general settling in to our new surrounds we have tried to do some local exploring. We have done quick trips to Lake Opuha, Rangitata River, Raincliff, and Caroline Bay. Hopefully we will get out and about plenty more and keep finding new places to explore.

Here are a few photos and vids of what we’ve seen and done so far
